Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

In my psychotherapeutic practice I aim to create a place for you to calmly, safely and attentively explore the questions and issues you are facing in your life.

I will work with you, using your own pace and boundaries as guidelines, to deepen your understanding of yourself and your circumstances, create meaning and connection and to give relief of the pain or anxiety that you may be experiencing.

In a decade of therapeutic training and work I have met clients of a variety of ages and backgrounds and have gained experience working with depression, anxiety, life stresses, relationship problems and more. I was trained in psycho-dynamic psychotherapy and integrate other modes of therapeutic work such as cognitive-behavioral interventions (CBT) and mindfulness, tailoring to each individual client.

I hold an MA in clinical psychology and I am a registered member of BACP and follow their Code of Ethics.

Psychosexual Therapist

In my psychosexual therapy work I hold a non-judgmental sex-positive and inclusive approach, and welcome clients of all genders, relationship styles and sexual orientations.

I work with clients who are dealing with problems in their sex life or to do with sexuality including vaginismus, pain on penetration, unreliable erections, rapid ejaculations and desire issues in men and women.

My psychosexual work extends to include what you may feel are problematic sexual behaviours. I also see couples who face sexual issues together. I am a trainee member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists) and adhere to their Code of Ethics.
