Trainee Counsellor

I am a trainee counsellor currently working towards my Level 4 Diploma in Humanistic Counselling. I work with adults, offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever you choose to bring to counselling.

As a humanistic counsellor, I view counselling as a collaborative journey. Rather than being in the driver's seat, I see my role as sitting alongside you, offering support and understanding as you navigate your own path. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, and I will be guided by what feels important for you to explore.

Building a safe, trusting, and authentic therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, accepted, and understood. I will listen with empathy and genuine curiosity, without judgement or expectation.

Throughout my training, I have come to appreciate that there is no right or wrong in counselling. I have learnt that presence can be as powerful as words, and that meaningful change often begins within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply wish to understand yourself more fully, you are welcome to bring whatever is on your mind.

I hope that counselling can offer you the opportunity to reflect, explore your experiences, and gain new insights into yourself. By working at a pace that feels right for you, counselling can support greater self-awareness, personal growth, and positive change.

I am a trainee member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work within their ethical guidelines.
