Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counsellor

I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and work with children from age 4 to young adult.

Through one-to-one therapeutic sessions using arts-based activities and play, I enable children and young people to explore their feelings and experiences, and express themselves in a safe and nurturing environment.

Working in this way empowers children and young people to develop understanding of their emotional life, and can bring relief to issues such as anxiety, depression, low self esteem, anger, friendship difficulties, bereavement, family changes and school pressures.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of theoretical orientations to meet the needs of the individual children and young people I work with. The fundamental elements of my work being creative, relational and child-led.

With a keen interest in neurodiversity and specific experience of working therapeutically with autistic young people, I aim to enable all children and young people to feel supported, heard and understood, and equip them with tools to build self-confidence, self esteem and resilience, so that they may thrive in the years to come.

I am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) and abide by their professional regulations and Ethical Framework.
