Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

Talking and feeling listened to can subtly and profoundly change the course of a life.  To have a space to think and hear yourself think can make a positive difference to you, and eventually, those around you.  Psychoanalytic psychotherapy can be a way to help you think about what might be going on for you, especially during stressful times when there are often more obvious possibilities for change.

Some people come to therapy to talk about anxiety and depression having had experience of bereavement and other life-changing losses, abuse, addiction, chronic health problems, and loneliness. I have some understanding of the particular pressures that can be associated with living in Cambridge, and with academic life in general, often away from family support and important relationships, sometimes alongside issues around migration or with a sense of isolation.
